The whole shop over MCP

NewAn assistant's pass also covers the side cart, cart, checkout and its steps, the thank-you page, 404, search, My account and WooCommerce e-mails.
NewShop texts are collected with a test cart that is deleted right away, with no order and no e-mail, and the site owner can switch it off.
NewAssistants working in parallel never get the same texts, and a batch that is not sent back is offered again after 20 minutes.
NewGreetings with the customer's name in e-mails are translated once, with a placeholder for the name.
NewPrices and numbers that a script rewrites in the browser are translated too.
NewA cleanup finds and removes old translations that hold customer data.
ImprovedRepeated passes skip pages that did not change and fetch several pages at once.
FixedSites with a domain per language get the cart and checkout updates in the right language.

Translating over MCP, finished properly

FixedA group of elements with an empty icon, such as a top bar or a product card, stayed untranslated although its translation was stored.
FixedMenus, categories and tags beyond the first hundred were skipped in an assistant's pass.
NewAn assistant's pass also covers category, tag and shop archive pages.
ImprovedA price is one placeholder in any currency, so a product card in euros and in crowns shares one translation.
FixedWooCommerce e-mail and cart texts with customer names, addresses or notes no longer reach the translation queue.
NewTranslations from assistants are checked for letters of a foreign script, and protected names with a hyphen are accepted.
NewThe admin screens show what your assistant translated over MCP, and the prompt for it names every target language.
FixedSaving the Overview no longer switches translation for visitors on; it has its own switch.

Fix a translation after it was accepted

NewAssistants can read stored translations and correct them over MCP, with the same checks as new ones.
NewA translation someone edited by hand is replaced only when an administrator asks for it.
FixedThe code of a character (the dash WordPress puts in titles) was masked like a number, so a translation could print a wrong character.
FixedTitles in WooCommerce structured data share the translation of the visible title instead of needing their own.
ImprovedAfter the update, stored translations with such codes are re-keyed once in the background.

Your AI assistant can set NagataPress up for you

NewClaude, ChatGPT and other assistants connected over MCP can read and change the setup with you: languages, translation style, Never Translate list, glossary and translation on or off.
NewThe assistant suggests terms that must never be translated, taken from your shop's brands and product names.
NewA translation that drops or changes a Never Translate term is refused.
ImprovedApps connected before keep translating; to let them change settings, connect them again.
FixedA list pasted into Never Translate is split into terms, and up to 100 terms fit.
FixedTerms ending in a symbol or a dot (Brand®, Company, a.s.) were not protected.
FixedSaving Never Translate no longer deletes good translations.
FixedAdmin buttons were squeezed and cut off when another plugin styled .btn.

Page builder editors open from every language

FixedThe Bricks editor opened from a translated page (/cs/?bricks=run) was an empty page. It now opens the editor of the original page.
FixedA page too large for a translation step is shown untranslated instead of empty.
ImprovedEditors of Bricks, Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Oxygen, Breakdance, Brizy and other page builders are left alone: no translation, no language switcher, no rewritten links.
1.3.13

WP-CLI that resumes where it stopped, and a skill for your AI assistant

FixedWP-CLI --resume continues with the batch that stopped, after used-up credit, a rate-limit pause or a database error, and counts only what was really translated.
FixedWP-CLI waits for a rate-limiting AI provider and tries the same batch again, for up to 15 minutes per batch.
ImprovedWhen your AI provider refuses the saved model, NagataPress keeps your setting, translates with a model your key can reach and tells you.
NewThe NagataPress skill for AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Codex: download it or paste its link into a chat, and the MCP card of the plugin links to it.

Clean addresses for search engines and a more honest admin

FixedThe canonical, og:url and hreflang tags no longer carry the tracking arguments of the visited address (utm, fbclid, gclid), and og:locale is valid for every language.
FixedPages with a non-Latin address (Japanese, Russian, Arabic) work under a language prefix, and the translated sitemap lists every page on sites with plain permalinks.
FixedA translation the AI provider could not answer is no longer marked as done, and nothing stored is deleted before the provider has answered.
ImprovedBulk translation shows its live log, the history of every language and plain explanations of errors.
FixedOn a site that translates with its own AI assistant, the Translate buttons explain why they cannot start instead of starting runs that fail.
FixedFix identical keeps the translations you saved by hand and the texts your assistant kept on purpose.
NewURL Exclusions for the language switcher on the Languages screen, and deleting a language asks you to type its code.
FixedThe WooCommerce e-mail preview no longer creates real orders, and translating e-mail templates no longer pays twice for the same text.
ImprovedThe Gemini API key travels in a request header, and error messages from AI providers never show pieces of a key.

The license key stays out of sight

FixedThe Overview and the License screen show only the last four characters of your license key: the full key no longer appears in the page or in the settings form.
FixedDeactivating a license really removes it from the site, so another key can be activated right away.

Clean search results next to an SEO plugin

NewThe structured data of SEO plugins, page builders and shops is translated on every language version: names, descriptions, FAQ, breadcrumbs, the language of the page and the links to the site's pages.
NewThe description of the image shared on social networks is translated too.
FixedA meta description or social media text without its own translation is no longer stitched together from pieces of other translations. It is translated whole, or stays in the source language until its translation is stored.
FixedWhen an SEO plugin changes how it builds the page title, every language keeps a translated title, put together from the translated page name and site name.
FixedThe translated sitemap leaves out page-builder templates, password-protected posts and pages an SEO plugin marks noindex (The SEO Framework, Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress).
FixedThe translated sitemap is listed in robots.txt again when an SEO plugin writes the file.
FixedThe cost card on the AI Provider screen, the time left of a bulk run and a few more messages are now translated like the rest of the plugin screens.
FixedWith WordPress 7.1, the menu items and link buttons of the plugin screens keep their rounded corners when clicked.
1.3.9
2026-10-06

Translate with your own assistant, no AI provider needed

FixedThe Languages screen opens without an AI provider or API key, so a site that translates only through the MCP endpoint (with or without OAuth) can choose its languages.
ImprovedWith only the MCP endpoint on, the plugin screens say that your own assistant translates, and a bulk run explains what to do instead of stopping at the first batch.
NewYour assistant can mark a text that has to stay as it is (a brand name, code, a URL), so a translation pass always reaches its end.
FixedOn a site behind Cloudflare's e-mail address obfuscation, the sentences around an e-mail address are translated as well.
FixedTranslations that mention "JavaScript:" are accepted, and the search box of the language switcher shows a readable hint.

A new look for the frontend editor, and word counts that are right in every language

ImprovedThe sidebar of the frontend editor wears the new look of the plugin screens, and every segment shows a clear Missing, AI or Manual badge.
FixedWords are counted correctly in every script, including letters with diacritics, Cyrillic, Greek, Chinese and Japanese, so every price estimate starts from the right number.
FixedThe price in the sidebar says "MCP" when your own assistant translates, and shows a dash when nothing is set up yet.
1.3.7
2026-10-06

Prices that follow what your site really uses

ImprovedCost estimates are built from the tokens your provider actually reported for your site, instead of a fixed number of tokens per word.
ImprovedModel prices checked against the vendors' pages on 6 October 2026, with the newest Claude, GPT and Gemini models added.
NewOpenRouter "Automatic" picks the best free model of the day for every request, so a retired free model never stops your translations.
ImprovedNo price is shown when your own assistant translates through MCP, because its subscription already pays.
1.3.6
2026-10-06

A new look for the plugin screens

NewEvery plugin screen wears the new pink "Hanami" look, with bundled fonts and buttons that push like keys.
NewThe mascot on the Overview suggests your next step, and you can switch it off in the settings.
FixedThe cards of the Migration screen keep their styling and selected state again, and wide tables scroll inside their card on narrow screens.
1.3.5

Your translations stay, new AI work follows the license

NewWhen a license expires, every translation already on your site stays and visitors keep seeing it. New AI translation pauses until you renew: bulk runs, automatic translation of new content, scheduled posts, WooCommerce e-mails, slugs, the AI buttons of the frontend editor, MCP and WP-CLI. Editing by hand keeps working.
NewThe license is checked once a day. If the license server cannot be reached, the last answer stays valid for 7 days, so an outage never stops your work.
NewA notice on the plugin screens, the dashboard and the Plugins screen links to renewal and checks the license again with one click. The License screen shows whether AI translation is available and when the license was last verified.
NewA one-time license ends on its date, and the plugin screens remind you 7 days before.
New"wp nagatapress license" shows the license status on the command line; "--check" asks the license server at once.
FixedWhile AI translation is paused, "Reset" in the frontend editor and "Fix translation" refuse instead of deleting translations nothing could replace.
FixedMessages of the plugin screens and of the license server appear in your language instead of English.
1.3.4
2026-10-02

Tighter cross-site access, and block-editor posts translate by themselves

FixedThe CORS headers the plugin adds to fonts, stylesheets and the WooCommerce AJAX address now go only to your own site, its www twin and your language domains, no longer to any website that asks.
FixedAutomatic translation of new content now starts when a post is published in the block editor or through the REST API (an app, an import, a headless front end).
FixedREST responses in a language no longer end in a fatal error; the stored translations are found and applied.
ImprovedThe language flags and the font of the plugin screens are bundled with the plugin, so nothing is loaded from a CDN or from Google Fonts.
FixedSerbian shows the Serbian flag instead of the flag of Suriname.
FixedChanging the source language on the Language settings screen rebuilds the list of languages to add.
1.3.3
2026-09-24

A different tracking ID for every language

NewEach language can have its own Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads or any other plugin setting ("Settings per language").
New"Find tracking IDs" scans your plugins for GA4, Google Ads, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, TikTok, Pinterest, Microsoft UET, Clarity and Hotjar IDs.
NewOptional language value for Google Tag Manager through the dataLayer.
ImprovedWooCommerce server-side events use the order's language, and the cache purge now also covers ZiziCache.
1.3.2
2026-09-24

A clearer bulk screen

FixedThe Bulk translation page lists each language once, with the same progress numbers as the Languages screen.
1.3.1
2026-09-23

An edited sentence no longer leaves its old translation behind

NewThe translation of an edited text is removed after 14 days. Translations no page has used for a year are cleaned up too (90 days, 180 days, 1 year or never).
NewWooCommerce orders record their language. Thank-you and payment pages and the payment gateway locale follow it.
ImprovedDeleting a language's translations runs in slices of 2,000 rows, so the table is never locked.
ImprovedA bulk run pauses for three minutes while the server struggles, and language switcher flags load on demand.

2026-09-22

Sign in to the MCP endpoint with your WordPress account

NewOAuth 2.1 sign-in for Claude Code, Claude.ai connectors, Codex, Cursor and VS Code. No Application Password to copy.
NewThe translation tools are also registered as WordPress Abilities (WordPress 6.9+) for sites that already run an MCP connector.
NewAn MCP setup card with 22 AI tools and a "Check the setup" self-test.
1.2.16
2026-09-22

A bulk run no longer takes the site down with it

NewA "Pace" setting with a Gentle mode for small hosting.
ImprovedThe browser kick returns at once, there are fewer loopback requests and memory growth is suspended during a bulk run.
ImprovedExhausted quota or credits are read from the provider's reply, and an unreachable provider opens a circuit breaker.
1.2.15
2026-09-21

Hand-made slugs, faster requests and an assistant that translates

NewSet translated slugs by hand in the slug editor. Changed URLs redirect with a 301.
NewExperimental MCP endpoint: translate with the Claude or Codex subscription you already pay for.
ImprovedSentence grouping is on for every site, and the cost of a request no longer grows with the size of the site.
1.2.14
2026-09-21

Separate language domains, end to end

ImprovedSeparate domains per language work with translated slugs, www and non-www hosts and WooCommerce product URLs.
ImprovedChanging the URL format rebuilds the rewrite rules and the .htaccess block immediately.
1.2.13
2026-09-11

E-mails you can edit by hand

NewAn editor for WooCommerce e-mail text with preview, per-line editing and a test send.
ImprovedA bulk run reports what really happened, and the provider's last answers are visible.
FixedA five-minute stall at the start of every bulk run.
1.2.0
2026-09

Live model lists, WooCommerce e-mails and scheduled posts

NewWooCommerce transactional e-mails in the customer's language.
NewPre-translation of scheduled posts shortly before they go live.
ImprovedThe model list is read live from your own key, and one price table drives every cost estimate.
FixedGemini requests, and failures are now visible to the site owner.
1.1.0
2026

A separate domain for each language

NewDomain URL mode: one domain or subdomain per language.
ImprovedSlugs moved into their own database table, and every model gets a cost estimate.
ImprovedUpdate packages must come over HTTPS from the official host, and keys are redacted from debug logs.
